Dani and Nate met in high school and this then boyfriend and girlfriend fell in love, moved to Vancouver, got engaged and the rest is history! We were so honoured to capture this couple’s gorgeous wedding which took place on the grounds overlooking a Victorian era Museum. Holy moly was capturing their wedding photographs there fun! Too many beautiful spots to choose from but the gardens and estate views topped the list! The wedding reception was held amongst the Edison lights and industrial charm of an old distillery restaurant. All of their decor was absolutely swoon worthy and you would never guess that most of it was actually DIY!

Congratulations Dani and Nate! A perfect day for a perfect couple!

What you will find is a dramatic fusion of old and new. An inspired blend of Victorian Industrial architecture and stunning 21st century design and creativity. The result is an internationally acclaimed village of one-of-a-kind stores, shops, galleries, studios, restaurants, cafes, theatres and more. The Distillery Historic District opened in 2003 and today it is widely regarded as Canada’s premier arts, culture and entertainment destination.
