Q: WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED TIME FOR PHOTOS?

A: The below times are the ideal based on experience and averages. Every wedding is different so feel free to ask us to go through all of the nitty gritty to get your best timeline down.

      Getting ready: 2 hours +
      Family & group shots: 30 - 60 min
      Newlywed photo session: 45 - 90 min
Wedding party photo session: 30 min+
      Decor & detail shots: 30 - 60 min

Q: HOW LONG BEFORE THE WEDDING SHOULD I BOOK MY PHOTOGRAPHER

A: To avoid disappointment you should book at least 12 months in advance, but ideally between 12 - 18 months or more if you can. We take on limited bookings each year, so even if we have your date available, if our roster is full we won't be taking on additional weddings.

Q: WE'RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?

A: Yes! Send us more information on your travel plans, and we will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs.

Q: DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE COVERAGE?

A: Yes! We have liability coverage and our property and equipment are also insured.

Q: WHY DO ALL PACKAGES COME WITH TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS?

A: All of our packages and sessions come with two photographers as not only will you get double the coverage and a 360º view of your day, but there are so many once-in-a-lifetime moments that the second photographer provides support for, including:

      - Getting all those beautiful emotions when you see each other for the first time
      - Getting the side shots of the vows while the other photographer stays in the middle of the aisle
      - Getting the back up shot of the first kiss in case something prevents the other photographer from getting it (eg. Guest raises their phone up to snap a picture)
      - Guiding you through your photo session while the other photographer captures it
      - Getting the guest reaction shots to speeches and candid guest photos
      - Photographing your décor

Q: WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND ON THE HOURS OF COVERGE?

A: We are very flexible and are happy to change the hours of photography coverage, whether you are changing a package entirely, adding hours, or even subtracting them, as long as it's done prior to your date. Should you wish to add hours on the day that is absolutely fine.

Q: DO I HAVE TO GO WITH ONE OF YOUR COLLECTIONS SHOWN ON YOUR WEBSITE?

A: Our collections shown on our website are ones we've created based on the most popular packages and they are all fully customizable. Just send us a list of everything you are looking for and we can build your own tailor-made package for you.

Q: HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?

A: A 20% deposit and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on the calendar. The remainder of the balance is due prior to your wedding day.

Q: HOW LONG AFTER OUR WEDDING CAN WE EXPECT OUR PHOTOS?

A: All editing is done in-house, to high standards, and in order of wedding date. The turnaround time of your photographs very much depends on what month your wedding is. If your wedding is at the end of the year the wait is about 3 months. As we totally understand the anticipation can be overwhelming, we will send you sneak peek images within two weeks of your wedding day.

Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?

A: We highly recommend ordering prints through our professional vendors, but it is not required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab and there is greater control over the output, so we encourage clients to let us help with prints! Ask us for our current a la carte menu for a full list of printing options.

Q: DO YOU PROVIDE THE RAW FILES?

A: Our packages don't include the unedited and RAW images in accordance with industry practice. The RAW files are just that, the raw ingredient in what makes up your final image and are unusable unless you have professional photography or graphic designer software.

Q: HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE?

A: You will receive between 700 to 1000 edited images for full day wedding package and about 300 to 500 edited images for half day.

Q: WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOS AFTER OUR WEDDING?

A: Yes! Your photos are given to you in high resolution and un-marked with full permission to print.

Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

A: We use professional Nikon cameras as well as a range of professional Nikon zoom and prime lenses. For lighting, we use non-intrusive Nikon Speedlights whenever we need to fill shadows and lift subjects. We also have portable studio lighting for those indoor photo sessions in dark spaces.

Q: DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE COVERAGE?

A: Yes! We have liability coverage and our property and equipment are also insured.

Q: DO YOU SHOOT WITH A SHOT LIST?

A: After capturing over 100 weddings, the shot list is well and truly in our heads. We come prepared on the day with the lists and poses requested by you and we highly recommend a family shot list be given so that no precious family member is missed.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE OF MY PHOTOGRAPHERS GETS SICK?

A: In the extremely unlikely situation that one of us can no longer make it due to illness or an unexpected event we will substitute them with one of our qualified back-up photographers.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON MY WEDDING DAY?

A: We can work with you on a plan b option for your photographs should rain be in the forecast. Having a beautiful umbrella handy never hurts.
