Kleinburg Doctors House; A vintage spring wedding

Taylor met Samuel while ‘holidaying’ in Australia and as the story goes, that was it... Love had been found and was not going to be given up to the half a world and two oceans between them. Their commitment and absolute love and passion for one another was so astounding I had to wipe away the tears while following her down the aisle.

This was definitely a special wedding for us to shoot and resonated home to Wolf Photography as we too are an Aussie and Canuck couple.

An elegant spring wedding at the Rosewater Room

Toronto, Rosewater room, King Edward hotel, spring wedding, toronto wedding, gta wedding, elegant wedding, elegant bride

It’s intimate, exclusive setting features a completely open concept design with floor to ceiling windows. Light streaming in from these windows bathed everything in subtle tones, accentuating this gorgeous couple, Sharon & Trevor, and of course that jaw dropping wedding dress.

The day started off at the King Edward hotel where we met the bride and groom for their getting ready photos. Excitement was in everybody’s eyes... especially the adorable flower girl, Carys, who bounced, twirled and followed Aunty Sharon throughout the bridal suite.

Once ready, Sharon walked down the grand hotel stairs for her first look with her husband-to-be who was eagerly awaiting her arrival in the lobby (he couldn’t even keep his eyes shut!). This is our favourite part of every wedding... the moment when they first set eyes on each other and no emotions can be held back. Breathtaking...

The perfection didn’t end there of course as right before their formal photo session, fluffy snow flakes began to fall though the temperature hadn’t.

All in all, it was a wedding of elegance, fun and family and of course... LOVE.

A fairytale winter wedding

Winter wedding, Toronto wedding, gta wedding, fairy tale wedding, fairy tale bride, boho elegance

Right before the ceremony, I was informed the bride was waiting in her town car so I went out to greet her and was amazed by two things. 1. How much like an actual princess she looked 2. How serene she was... just brimming with a happiness and calmness that left no room for nerves. That glow of happiness lasted all through the day and into the night, radiating from all their friends and family. Their reception hall was so cozy and wonderfully decorated; complete with fireplace, huge windows overlooking the grounds and a lamp post lined trail leading to a gazebo where some great winter wedding photos were had!

Although maybe a tad on the cold side for an Aussie photographer (min of -25 degrees), this snowy Valentines Day made a perfect setting for a very beautiful winter wedding.

Toronto Brickworks; A rustic winter wedding

Transformed from a collection of deteriorating heritage buildings into a global showcase for green design and urban sustainability. Evergreen Brick Works is not only a environmental centre but a perfect stage for a winter wedding.

Sammie and Jon were wed amongst the exposed brickwork and glowing candlelight; holding an atmosphere of coziness and warmth. Their ceremony was filled with love, promises and laughter. And the reception, much the same! This couples down-to-earth values were so prevalent as the focus of their wedding was so pure and simple - sharing their night with the people they love.

Toronto Engagement Shoot; Love comes to the St. Lawrence Market

With Tammy & Stephanie, we really wanted to capture their shared lifestyle and creative nature in their engagement shoot. A big part of their daily life is their darling dog, Barnaby. Having him take part was such a magnificent way to add an extra element of fun and emotion to their photographs. And how photogenic is he right!? We love the mix of romance meets the city streets that we were able to achieve with this couples shoot.

Niagara-on-the-lake; A sunset & vineyard engagement shoot

We spent the evening with them at Konzlemann winery in Niagara-on-the-lake, starting their photo shoot off with a tour of the cellars, a walk through the vines, then a sunset glass of wine by the water (just them, not us sadly!) The soft light and warm air truly magnified the romance between this gorgeous couple. All in all, it was a very romantic engagement shoot in Niagara!

Toronto TTC; A unique engagement shoot

Luckily the worst of the thunderstorm past to the east, with only a few clamps of lightning and gusts of wind to keep us on our toes. The Toronto streetcars might not be the first location that comes to mind when you are contemplating a photography location for your engagement photos, however, they make for some unique and memorable photos.
This along with rustic bricks, interesting doorways, quaint cafes and tucked away parks make downtown Toronto a perfect location.

An Island Wedding

This was a very fun and spirited wedding. From the first time meeting this couple we could tell they were head over heels for each other. We were so happy to capture the raw emotion of the day and their absolute love for both each other and their family. Check out our wedding photography gallery to see highlights from their special day!

Sunsets & Carousels: Our barefoot bride at the Boat Harbour

At Wolf Photography, we love sunsets! The softness, magic, and fairy tale feel they bring to photographs is spectacular at tugging at our hearts and setting the perfect romantic tone. If only they could just kiss the horizon for a little bit longer before heading off to warm the skies of the other side of the world… a girl can dream.

Nicole & Steve: Engagement Photos at their University Campus

Engagement, summer engagement, toronto engagement photography, gta engagement photography, boho engagement, elegant engagement, natural engaement, photojournalistic engagement photography
One great thing about photography is that more often than not, the best times to shoot are early morning and late evening. Times when the sun is lowest in the sky and the air is cool. Unfortunately for Nicole and Steve, this morning was not one of those times. The temperature reaching near 40 degrees by noon. Lucky for the shade of the gorgeous Moreton Bay Fig trees and the old ivy covered campus buildings to shield us from the blazing sun.

Nicole and Steve were fantastic. Easy going and lovely people who found each other at the office. Like quickly turned to love for these two and we are so happy to have been a part of capturing their smiles and laughter in these first precious moments of their lives together.
